Women's Soccer: Warriors' Team Impacts West Tarricone During Official Draft Day Ceremony at Sports Center

West Tarricone, an 11-year-old North Windham resident, was officially signed to a lifetime contract by the Eastern Connecticut State University women's soccer team as its top recruit during a Team IMPACT Draft Day Ceremony Thursday at the Sports Center. Joining West at the signing were his mothers Diane and Cara and brother Blake. As an official team member, West will attend the team's practices, games, team dinners, events, and more. West is courageously battling Dravet Syndrome. Team IMPACT is a national nonprofit headquartered in Boston that connects children facing serious or chronic illnesses with college athletic teams, forming lifelong bonds and life-changing outcomes. Since 2011, Team IMPACT has matched more than 1,800 children with more than 600 colleges in 48 states, reaching over 55,000 participating student-athletes
