Women's Basketball: Warriors Sponsor Annual Charity Game on Senior's Day

WILLIMANTIC, Conn. -- On the day when the Eastern Connecticut State University women's basketball programm will honor its outgoing senior, the Warriors will also honor the memory of former North Carolina State women's basketball Hall of Fame coach Kay Yow by sponsoring their annual charity game to raise money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Play4Kay is the largest fundraiser for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. The Play4Kay initiative was initially called Think Pink and later Pink Zone. Play4Kay allows members of the basketball community to play a part in the Kay Yow Cancer Fund by doing something that they love: playing basketball.

In addition to wearing pink at the Eastern-Western Connecticut Little East Conference game Saturday, Feb. 9 at Francis E. Geissler Gymnasium, you can support the Kay Yow initiative by making a donation (CLICK HERE) and/or purchasing a T-Shirt or gear. (CLICK HERE).
