Senior forward Jacob Collins of Bristol helped the Warriors close out the regular season with program records for wins (22) and winning percentage (88.0) by scoring 33 points and grabbing ten rebounds in two Little East Conference wins. In an average of 19 minutes, Collins shot 60.9 percent from the floor and was 5-of-7 from three-point range and also had three steals and an assist. In a 106-82 mid-week win at Western Connecticut which assured Eastern of its fifth straight LEC regular-season title, Collins equaled his career high with 17 points and did not commit a turnover in 16 minutes. He was 7-of-11 from the floor (3-of-4 from distance) and had two steals and an assist. In his first career start in an 89-42 home win over the University of Southern Maine which gave Eastern its fifth straight season without a regular-season conference home loss, Collins had 16 points, six rebounds and a steal in 22 minutes. In that game, he was 7-of-12 from the floor (2-of-3 from distance). During the regular season, Collins averaged 5.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in an average of only 17.2 minutes, shooting 56.3 percent from the floor and 69.2 percent from the foul line.
