The winner of he Little East Conference Presidents' Cups the last two years representing academic supremacy, Eastern topped the LEC with 47 All-Academic achievers this past fall. Thirteen members of the women's soccer program gained this academic distinction, the most by any institution in any fall sport.
Recognized in the 8th Weekly Little East Conference awards program Jan. 16 were (from left): Carlos Gonzalez, Hugh Lindo, Lexis Foster and Mya Villard.
Twin sisters Hayley (top) and Carly (bottom) Mangan combined on the winning 200 medley relay and later placed 1-2 in the 100 butterfly when the Warriors returned to action Monday with a 155-111 win over the University of Saint Joseph (CT). Hayley was a double winner as she also claimed the 100 freestyle and Carly was the winner of the 50 butterfly.
Lawrence McGill (left) won the 400 meters and freshman Ahriyan Brown (right) equalled the third-fastest time in program history at 55 meters when the Warriors opened their season at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Invitational Saturday.
